My First Install

Just a few pics of the install in my ZR - might be useful for anyone who is thinking about doing something similiar to their rover 25 / 200 or mg zr. Thanks to everyone who gave me help and advice with this install as i am really pleased wth the results!

The parts i am using are:

HU - JVC LHX552
FRONT - Pioneer TS-A172C 17" Comps
SUB - JBL 10"
AMP - JBL 75.4
SUB BOX - Stealth Boxz for R25

Haha, yup it sounds amazing! I cant believe the power from the sub!

Yeh its a great box - really space efficient They are 165 new from www.autoacoustics.co.uk - i got mine for 75 second hand and it was definately worth it!

Oh, and cheers for your help Friggerpants on all my questions!

that box looks famliar though.........wonder where u got that from???

glad its being put to good use though.

definitley worth while those custom boxes.......takes up very little room.

Haha, yeh thanks for the help with that michael! The box has saved me cutting an mdf floor, working out how to get to the spare wheel and how to explain to my parents that a sub is more important than space for shopping and luggage!!!!!

The seat back is sheet steel so can be drilled for self tappers easily enough

Just realised you running 2 sets of RCA cables into your amp, what are they?

Also, how much was the amp?

Hi,

One set of the RCA cables is for the front speakers and the other is for the sub (or for the rear speakers if thats what you choose to run from the amp).

The amp is the 4channel JBL GTO 75.4 and cost 100 from caraudiodirect.co.uk

Friggerpants the amp is JBL and one of the RCA leads is from autoleads and one is an unbranded "5m Gold Plated RCA cable" off of ebay
