Chris Knott....presumes !
I have recently received my renewal paperwork from Chris Knott insurance, thats fair enough, it happens every year (but without the £100 increase).
But today, I also received a statement of payments for the forthcoming year from a credit company that they use.
Hooooooooooooold on one minute boys!! Who said I was going to renew with you this year? Last year, due to a shortness of a lump sum, I had to pay monthly, which I hate doing, so not only has Chris Knott presumed I am going to stay with them, but they also think that I want to pay monthly again.
This was received today (23/03/2011) and my insurance is not due renewal until 05/04/2011.
I do of course understand that this may actually be of great help to some, allowing the whole renewal to roll over automatically....no worries, but I would like the chance to shop around a bit, and decide for myself how I am going to pay for it. How about asking me before making arrangements?
Well I am sorry Chris Knott, but I think you have just lost me to another company mentioned regularly on this very forum, a shame as I have been with them for the last 3 years, but that is a major own goal.
