Hi, thanks for you information last week, I've managed to get the alarm sorted by an autoelectrician called Richard Becks in Shipley, it turned out to be a faultly solenoid switch on the drivers door mechanism. Instead of putting a new door mechanism in which would have been pricey, he bypassed this by installing a switch for the interior light on the door pillar. On the way back I called into see Noobrider, had a chat with him about MGs which was interesting! Regards
