they would fit a 220d as that's one of the cars they come from

Basically: they are a power upgrade for the 25/45/zr/zs, but the 220d already has them

Cool

Can anyone advise on a guide price on a set of SDI injectors new? Also on a used set and getting them refurbed? I have found a set on ebay for 3 but these are from a 214 1.1, which would surely be petrol and not diesel??
As always all comments appreciated!

I got a set for less than 100 brand new, can't remember exactly how much. They were off EBay, not sure if the supply has dryed up now from that seller now as it was well over a year ago when I bought them. The ones from the 1.1 engine won't work though.

Used price is very variable from 10 to 50 most commonly.

Reconditioning price is usually about 35 per injector.

am i assuming 90 is too much to pay for a used pair then?

Also would they need reconditioning? Could be very expensive!

whats the difference between these two sets of copper washers?

ERR4621A - which is mentioned at the start of this thread

ERR4621 - which is what i received from the dealer?

ive got slight carbon stains around injectors 1+4 since i fitted my SDi injectors at the weekend. ive cleaned them up and tightened the clamp bolts slightly to see whether its stopped the leak.

i want to get some more copper washers and re-seat the injectors as i recon some dirt has got down the injector well and is stopping it sealing correctly. trouble is the dealer said ERR4621A are on back order, where as from looking online ERR4621 seem readily available

It'll just be a superceeded part number, probably from a different supplier.

Nowt to worry about.

I went to land rover and ordered the washers yesterday as they didnt have them in stock. Asked for l series injector washers and the bloke said, Oh I will need a chassis number for that. :S Really? Then he said there not in stock they will be here Friday Okkaaaaaaaaaay then. Will check part number, and compare looks when I pick them up tomorrow? How vital is the tightening of them as I have heard they need to be done to the correct torque?
Also, on a standard zrtd 103bhp i think, with boost at 19psi (will reduce to 19psi again when fitted) and fuelling slightly adjusted what gains should I expect?
Thanks

Okay, i've spent a fair while trying to find the correct SDI's for an MG ZR TD... Would these work, does anyone know?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROVER-200-400-...item2a0308cf23
Or
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROVER-200-400-...item2a036bbeea

They just seem excessively cheap as opposed to the usual prices...

Thanks
