Post Door mirror conversion RHD to LHD and vice versa

This conversion apply to Rover 25, 400/45, MG ZR and ZS.

All these models have same mirror for RHD cars as well for LHD cars. The point is in the fact that you can adjust the mirror to suite RHD car or LHD car.

This thread O/S Door Mirror...... Cannot adjust outward enough. pointed me into direction of creation this How to guide.

New mirror comes in the box adjusted for RHD car. If you need the mirror for LHD car you need to make re-adjustment. With every new mirror plastic adjusting tool is delivered. Looks like plastic spanner, but this is not a spanner, it is prising tool. If you do lot have this tool as you lost it, or you never had it, you can do the same thing with two flat screwdrivers, but need to be careful when doing the prise.

In following pictures I am showing how new mirrors, tool, instructions how to do adjustment and position on the mirror where you need to do it.

New mirror with the tool:

Tool itself:

Here are the instructions how to make adjustment:

Here are the pictures where you need to put tool in order to make the adjustment:

As requested here are pictures of tool in front of graph paper. Thickness of the tool itself is 3 mm.

Nice to see that you created a guide on this, I remember a thread where we both explained it to someone

I see that you have the tool, if you have the time, could you take a picture of the tool in front of graph paper? And measure the thickness of the blades?

I would like to make a 3D model of it, for those like me who have access to a 3D printer. Maybe it will be usefull to the community.

That thread you are reffering to is linked in the begining of this thread

I will make a picture, but you will have to be patient as I need extra time to do so...

EDIT: Requested pictures added.
