I've had that word document saved for months... I've already got and ECU, just never got round to sourcing the 2 connectors and wiring.
May have to go scrappy 2morrow and find the ECU for it

Would it be possiable to fit the window ECU from a 800? that give one shot up and down on all windows/sunroof, plus lazey locking that can easily be modified to close all the windows at the same time, instead of one at a time. The wireing might be fun to transplant though! The ECU is under the pasenger seat if your interested
Cheers

Smile locking and closure

sorry to drag up.

am i right in thinking that someone was referring to rover 200 mk3 having a cut out when the window reaches the bottom of the door ? also how do you get total closure to stop lifting the window ?

thanks

also a few years back i had a total closure alarm fitted but requested the central locking not connected up thinking it would interfere with my rover alarm. is this the case or would it not affect the alarm or solenoids

thanks

Would this also work for the sunroof on a 200/25/streetwise/zr as it would be a neat feature and make opening the sunroof when driving that little bit safer

seconded !

I'm in the process of breaking my old 45 and have rescued the control box from the drivers door to fit to the front passenger door.

Does anyone know if this mod works with a facelift model 45 ?

On facelift model 45 driver window is controled by BCU unit, and not separate unit. So, this mod will not be exactly the same as described.

You can put separate unit for passenger window but you need to know which wires you need to use. At this moment I am not sure if something else is also needed as I did not look electrical diagram for facelift R45.
