After getting my grubby mits on my Dad's MGTF, I've spent the last six months lurking around the forum and learning how to fix most of the little niggles on the car (you guys are awesome in explaining stuff so an idiot can follow it - much appreciated!).
I tend to keep vehicles for a long time and don't change often. I've always enjoyed cars, and gone for whatever I fancied in my price range without worrying about what others would think:
1984 Fiesta 1.3
1983 Golf 1.3 'Driver'
1996 Citroen Saxo 1.4 (crashed it - oops)
1990 Metro 1.0
1998 Daweoo Nuriba CDX 2.0 (fitted a PlayStation 2 and a screen to it - awesome car!)
2004 Alfa 147 JTDm 140bhp (bought from new, kept until 2016)
2003 MGTF 160 (Le Mans Green)
I've had bikes slightly longer than I've had cars, so for those few still reading, and want to know what 24 years of motorbikes look like:
1989 Kawasaki AR80
1988 Yamaha TZR125
1993 Yamaha RD350R
1990 Yamaha FZR600
1996 Yamaha YZF1000R Thunderace
2002 Yamaha YZF-R1
I'll stop rambling now.
Thanks for putting so much useful information in places where non-members and non-technical people can find it and use it. It's very much appreciated and great for getting people involved in the community and the cars.
