Wish I could but after Xmas the hours in work will dwindle massively so won't be able to do anything ATM it's in the mothers bf hands as he's got two 800s one a vitty lux and an 820si and he's gonna try sell it but says it's worth more in spares unfortunately

I don't trade anymore, bodywork questions can be dealt with on the forum,I now work in vehicle parts of secondhand nature, again I dont trade on behalf of my employer,I am on basic 5 pm membership inc replies etc.
I get loads of PM's about bodywork and paint and can I get parts ......
At least you tried and had a look, that deserves the rep IMO.

Hi Andy; love the job you have done on that colour coded grill. Have you retained the original vertical slats or have you used the mesh material to replace them?

Ah, my profession and interest are a little closer - I'm a Mechanical Engineer! Mechanical Design and Product and Process Improvement mainly. No surprise I'm interested in how things work and go together!

Crikey! You managed to do a head gasket or two with kiddies? Knew I needed to sort car before little one arrived else it wold;ve stood in garage for another 7 months! You're an interesting man Andy; chef + car mechanics - wonder how often those two interests go together. Not very often I imagine. And how many other Head chefs have changed a head gasket. Probably none!
