Thanks for the kind words mate. Yeah, it's funny how life can deal one a kick in the nads sometimes - but it's what you make and do with the situation that makes the difference... Which is stating the obvious, but you know what I mean, lol. We are (well, Vik is) going for this Personal Budget thing, there'll be a few schillings available for holidays etc - will give you a shout Kris, when it all comes off. Would be nice to hook up if you have the time, seems bloody ages since me'n'her last went up north, lol.

Yeah, alright mate. Working through the issues with the missus, who's getting stronger all the time. Doing some R&D work with my mate (Vik's instructor) to make some stroke specific rehab equipment up too. Busy times - same as for you guys, some impressive gains on the 4-motion there, for sure! You ever get that Synth?

Yeah, she's alright cheers - improving slow and sure, still a major struggle with balance and speech. We are blessed with an incredible PT guy that she and I have been taking through his ARNI (see the link in my sig) training - he's just qualified, and now runs classes at our group as well as his 1-2-1 sessions with her. Inspirational chap, and doing wonderful work. I'm no musician - my creative talent lies unexplored elsewhere...

Yeah, not bad, mate, thanks for asking - not been on much, had a bit on with R&D work for the Hyundai Coupe forums I'm on (new inlet manifold design), hospital lectures and plenty rehab stuff for the missus...

Busy time. Hows things for you...

Aaaah! SPI Wizard... They are on version 3 now me thinks. That MPPS should do the trick for what you are looking to use it for.

Extra large VNT FTW! lol But seriously... Wouldn't it be more beneficial to start easing the boost in earlier? Surely that would make driveablity more enjoyable? I am thinking that most of the VAG/BMW crew waffle about lag-free maps for VNT turbo'd cars...

On a side note, I disconnected the vac lead to my EGR today... Performance in 1st and 2nd has improved... but as expected the EML came on after about 45 minutes (unusual as the first time I did it the light came on as soon as I switched the car on). I have to now keep clearing it using that Android Torque app lol Oh well... Not all bad.

Sick! As I have just got into the MG/Rover TD scene I am not au-fait with which VNT is suitable. Are they similar to the BMW units? I have changed one of those on my old car, they do have a tendency to coke up the vanes leading to massive flat spots. However... They supply massive boost from very early in the rev range so should yeald some nice torque curves :-) Obviously you know this... I love to patronise lol

I have come across those MPPS units before. But do they work on our ECUs?

No luck with the stuff you sent me... I seem to have a zip file and not an installer. I have worked out what I need to do once it is installed though. ;-) How's the VNT stuff going? :-)
