...yes, almost 18 month since my last blog entry, oh the shame of it!
Well, my 'fleet' now consists of Misty (TF) and a nice ZR 160, which has replaced my practical, but rather dull R25. The ZR is almost as much fun as the TF, but of course doesn't have the roof down option!
I'm looking forward to the Knebworth meet on 15 May and look forward to seeing anyone who can make it. It seems we'll have over 30 cars which will be nice. I am a bit miffed however that mods stopped...

Boxind day. It's some time since I last posted to my blog, so thought it's about time that I did!
I've settled into my new job quite well and find time for .org again after a hectic first few weeks, when people probably thought they had got rid of me
Earning power is way below my previous job and the purse strings have had to be well and truly pulled in. I took Misty off the road (selling is not an option!), but think I've found a way to get her back on in January

It all happened very quickly. I have a new job starting next week (with a weeks' training in Altrincham). The lorry driving job was starting very early and working loooong hours, leaving me little time for anything else (including time on .org). The new job is much more flexible and with far more reasonable hours. It's all to do with water management (legionnaires prevention etc) and sounds very interesting......very different to what I have done previously. I'm always up for learning something...

Well, my new job is going ok. I'm driving an 18 tonner around the Watford area (I hold an HGV licence as my old firm had a lorry in the fleet, which came under department). It's a bit different to what I used to do and I hope that I eventually find something else that pays a bit better!
I'm working 2 and a half hours longer each day than I used to, plus spending half hour more travelling to and from work each day. Effectively, that's 3 hours less 'spare time' every day, hence far fewer...

Well, having found a little work (and getting some income
), I've decided I can take a quiet exhaust no more. I want to be 'one of the boys' roaring through the tunnels
So, a TT Mk4 is on order. Really looking forward to having it fitted. As Neil says, you miss out on part of the 'British Sports Car' experience without having an exhaust that at least makes it sound like a sports car!
