In the early 1990's I worked for a company associated with Rover and they used our premises as a stop-over when they were road-testing (disguised) R600 before going into production.
Later on, I was able to lease 600's very cheaply and had about 6 different cars in succession and all of them were superb.
Wasn't able to take my car with me when I left the company and went on to own a Mazda 323 (excellent) and a Honda Accord (not great) before buying my current 620 for next...
