Andy plotted a route for us around South Derbyshire. 7 cars met up at McDonalds in Alfreton for the day out.
After surviving a sudden downpour just before setting off, we headed out with hoods down to enjoy the day. The route took us on a good mix of fast roads and single track winding roads, with a couple of steep uphill sections and hairpin bends thrown in for good measure.

The MGF was cleaned and polished the weekend before - even having a hood shampoo and re-proof - then was put in the garage. Packing was done the night before as it was going to be an early start. I left Doncaster before 4.00am to travel down the A1 to meet...

Andy (Jester), being the old romantic that he is, popped the question to Gill on Valentines Day - and amazingly she replied in the affermative. To celebrate the occasion Andy arranged a run for the Water Waiters through some of the gorgeous countryside of North Yorkshire.
The meet point was the Multi Flight Cafe Bar at Leeds Bradford Airport for breakfast. There was a good turn out of F's and TF's and, just for good measure, a Rover 25..!! The weather during the day was a mixed...
