Totally got to be a 620ti, I've got 15 quid worth of parts to make mine nice, like the puddle lights on the bottom of the doors, new mirror window switches and spray washer jets.

    Awesome car, do it

Cambelt is a pain in the backside, I've done several now and it doesn't get any easier. If you plan to keep the car it's worth changing the tensioners too, they're quite cheap.

Glow plugs can be a pain as 2 are covered, but not too bad with a bit of patience.

That noise sounds like your alternator, only way to check would be to pop the belt off and see what makes the noise by spinning all the parts.

Aux belt is nice and cheap, and easy to do.

    Probably looking at about:

    10 Antifreeze
    3 oil filter
    15 oil
18 glow plugs (Good brand, cheap ones are naff)
    8 Aux drive belt

You'll get an alternator really cheap off eBay, if that's making the noise.

You got a cheap supplier for the bits to do your winter service? I got a halfords trade card, and a load of diesel oil filters.

Sorry mate the fleet has just increased to 3 again so no room for another 800 , doh
Sounds like quite an expensive list to get it back on the road as well , cant you just plug away at it over the winter ? a tyre one month , handbrake cable the next month kind of thing ? andy

    Hi,

I maybe can help you if you're looking for a good used turbocharger for your car. I have one from my 620ti which is in fine condition. If it helps, you can have this one for 110.

Repairing turbochargers is an expensive business. The usual specialists in the back of motoring mags can help supply spares. I have never used them so cannot recommend anyone from personal experience.

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

    John.
