i've got hairpins, and i did panick a little at first, but after very carefully laying the wheel in once the tyre was on, i found that it didn't touch. just a little close if i put it in off-centre because of the raised securing point.
on, and i've used your idea of storing the tools in the rear wing area.

ok, slight mis-calculation then, but nothing too serious. the section of threaded bar is quite short to be the same as mine, i've got mine face-down. but if you need it face up then you can just swap it for a longer section of threaded bar. will come out with the use of a pair of nuts locked on.
btw, could you PM me your address, think i might have had it at one point, but have cleared my messages.

hi, Dad should have time to make the spare wheel retainers tomorrow, should be able to post them on monday.
i'll let you know how much postage is, anything beyond that is voluntary.
just to check, are the wheels ok to be face down in the wheel well?
