Ok so the second 75 I have owned I have nearly had for a year, but after a very painful year and a half my Fiat has gone around a month ago and I don't miss it at all.

It was the most niggly car I have ever had, it stuttered, did bad MPG for a diesel and had over 7 warranty claims in 6 months as well as spending the last 8 weeks with me at the local garage.

I had enough and decided to give it up.

So my Rover is now proving to be a reliable run around - it may...

After owning the Rover since September I have had alot of fun with it I have spent alot of money on getting to how I wanted and then realised so long as I owned the car I was so besotted with it I was never going to stop spending money on it.

The Clio is coming up to its second birthday so I thought before it lost any more value I'd trade it in for a diesel Clio, went down to the local Renault garage to cut along story shot bad attitude meant I was soon heading down the A1 to silverlink....

Its been a few months now since I first got the 75, its been in for its check up and I'd like to think the only things it needed doing were normal 6yr old car things:

- Spark plugs,
- Cambelt
- Aux belt
- Rear brakes
- New T-piece on coolant system

After that in September went down to Devon for a week and took the 75, it was great didn't play up at all, although the number of 5s on the hradsolder both going down and coming back was unnerving....

Phew! After months of trailing through Autotrader, Pistonheads and ebay and not really thinking i'd find something that I would like to buy last Friday I somehow ended up clicking 'Place Bid' on ebay.

I always though if I bought a second car it would be a MG, but nope it turned out to be a 2003 Rover 75 1.8T with 75000 miles on the clock, it looks good and goes nearly as well...

Its around mid-spec...

Since the ZS has gone (but not left the family) and I've now got the Clio (see previous post) I have found that since buying it I could in theory have another car maybe one just for fun.

Looking at the classifieds on Pistonheads I have found a few what I would call bargains in the ZT category, one which really caught my eye was a 04 ZT-T 190 SE with all the toys now this car is priced at 4k so maybe not a bargin but for what it is not bad, then I saw a bright red 03 ZT 160+ priced at...
