I was diagnosed when I was 16, back then once you turned 16, that was it, social services didn't want to know about it anymore. Thankfully nowadays its become more accepted. Have you heard of the National Autistic Society (http://www.autism.org.uk/) ? They have been a great help to me and my partner. Given me a lot of advice and guidance of late, in trying to help me move to a quieter location. Sadly the local council do not deem my health an issue. They seem to have a safe guard in, "Well the property itself isn't a detrimental affect on your health". This is very true, but surely they should take into consideration the area too. Still an on going battle, we have now used the last possible resource, a solicitors who specialize in housing and people with mental health issues.

Hey. I expect there are many of us, just many people either aren't fully aware of it or haven't had the correct diagnosis.

... I do get tested a lot! ...but that's only because I have the mind of a NINJA! but yes some of the questions do get a little tricky or strange, but that's when my SENSEI Master helps me.

Okies, well I have had a look today, and it shouldnt be a problem. If ever the Rover system did activate (due to removing the battery etc.) then it should just be a case of entering the EKA code in the wallet thing. Hope you diddnt do 90+ on the pressures the tyres were at - one of them was about 12psi! lol I pumped em all up to 31psi at a garage round near you before setting off and on the way home got it up to 100, once lol....it vibrates and shakes a bit around 80 but stops if you go higher! lol.

Think what Ill do is change the box and fit a new clutch, should make it a nice quiet drive again, and completely stop the shudder. I think it will completely transform the car! Gunna get it through the MOT and use it as my runaround whilst my 416 is off the road.

haha I was genuinly quite worried with the noise it made at 70mph!....wondered if it would go at any time lol, but nope it made it the 90 miles back to Worthing - I diddnt pussy foot it either.

Regarding the fobs/immobiliser, do you actually have any (even one?) of the proper Rover fobs for it? Or any paperwork about the toad alarm? If so do you reckon you could post em to me (will pay over paypal or whatever). Reason is, I am worried that if the battery is dis-connected it may re-set the Rover immobiliser and leave the car unable to start.
