Hi there Jimbo. I see you've had no messages for three years now so I thought I would just ask how you are.

Hi Jim, we recently returned from our European tour, taking in that part of the world that you were kind enough to send us a `gite` address for.We didn`t select that particular one, but went for one nearer to Perpignan and the coast. However I wrote a diary as we traveled on from place to place and thought that it maybe it would be of interest to you. If it is let me have your email address and I will pass it on, kind regards, Nick

Guess what I did today! Got the tubes from my fishtank air pump - drained the washer bottles - it took an hour to drain out completely and 3ft of tube dissappeared into the tube and bottle! Water was thick and blue! I have some pics on facebook as I dont' know how to get them on here! And I have now filled up with clean and fresh water with new 'pink' screen clear and it's about 70% better! Not 100% and it does still fade after 2nd or 3rd squirt but at least it's cleaning the windows now!
And guess what - now I have a clunk in the steering! Coils we think! Not serious - wear and tear....shouldn't be expensive and will get it done when off work at easter!http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id...409&aid=378519
    Just thought you'd be interested!!

Glad to hear about that reversing bulb being easily fixed Jim, I'm surprised your message centre didn't pick it up for you though; I thought they were monitored?

Are you going to wash and wax/polish today Jimbo? Not sure about it being worth as it looks like it may rain on Sunday.

Probably going to be my last entry.

Due to tons of reasons I had to make the sad decision to sell the V8 and today it's been collected by it's new owner.

Hope he enjoys it as much as I have done over the 16,000+ glorious miles I've driven it.

Well all I've got the use of now is the good ladies Fiesta Auto until I decide whether or not to replace the V8.

Sad day.............

Is it really 8 months since I posted to my blog - where to start?

Not been around this or many other forums to start with, not really lost any interest just not had time being too busy with other projects, mind you I've still managed to attend the odd meet or two.

To update from my last post I fitted the BBK throttle body to another V8 at a get together in Doncaster during February. I did change my insurers and reduced the premium, very pleased. To get round the problem...

After posting a question over on the two-sixties I was offered a BBK throttle body and plenum by one of the member's. It was going to be available due to a supercharger installation he was going to have done in the near future. We arranged to meet up at an Owners Club get together at the Newark Air Museum to discuss it. By the time of the meet he'd already had the supercharger fitted and we came to an agreement and I became the proud owner of a 78mm BBK throttle body and plenum. Originally I was...

Firstly I hope you all had a very enjoyable Christmas even allowing for the bad weather, plus I hope the New Year is a happy and prosperous one for us all.

The new year got off to a good start for supporters Carl & Kirst as they got married on the 8th January. My good lady and me were really happy to attend together with a lot of other members from various MGR forums and their family to help them celebrate their day. It was a real MG-Rover wedding and .org's own Stu C's "Boat"...

We were unable to attend Flyer & Annmaries wedding in October as my good lady had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease early in the month and had she a four day stay in hospital followed by the rest of October convalescing. It was a bit of a shock a couple of weeks later to find out what had happened with Flyers Ban, missed the actual event as we were away in Wales attending a family wedding at the time - I don't see eye to eye all the time myself with George but I feel...
