Why is NickTL having a go at Martin W? A nicer bloke you couldn't meet.

Sadly, that's what Nick does, if you don't, unquestionably, worship everything that the new company does he thinks that you are a troll, and probably from some other forum that he obviously frequents.

The MGOC article by Martin W was written in a positive a way as he possibly could. The reality of his experience was far worse than that.
However, as the gentleman he is, he has tried to keep it as balanced as possible.
His experiences are far from uncommon too, which is concerning.
MGUK should have bent over backwards to try and keep such a fine ambassador for the brand amongst enthusiasts happy.
It didn't however, and their treatment of his was borderline incompetent.
That, as much as anything wrong with the cars is what drove him away, along with many possible and future sales.

Exactly. If someone as influential in the MG community as Martin W couldn't get decent service, what chance has Joe Punter?

The article has a tone of reluctant disappointment where Martin's faith has not been honoured as he would have hoped. I don't see the article as in any way vitriolic, more just sad.

Will this forum be renamed Macdroitwich takeover or something similar soon?

Oh and for the record - 2 X MG6 and an MG3 here, 90,000 miles covered and no major issues.

The minor issues that have arisen have been dealt with promptly and parts have been readily available.
