Soundproofing the MG3?

Much as I love it, the 3 isn't the quietest of cars and I'm wondering what can be done to make it a little quieter.
Has anyone tried any type of soundproofing?

The issue IMO is once you start removing trim then it never goes back exactly right and thats when rattles and squeaks can start.

I don't think it is that noisy at all, certainly no worse than my Ford Focus was.

My parents also think the noise is less than their Yeti and that cost them 15K when they bought it 6 months old, mine cost just under a 3rd of that price.

I think you forgot to put a K after 15. I do not find the MG3 noisy, and it runs very smoothly. I do agree that some road surfaces can create a rumble, somebody on this site has suggested increasing tyre pressures, I would have thought the opposite. I agree removing trim would invite rattles, nothing goes back the same. Leave well alone. Just enjoy the good road holding the MG3 provides.
