Finally bought one!

After wanting one for a while, I've finally put a deposit down on an MG6.

It's a diesel, 2015 plate, TS spec, with only 3800 Miles on the clock.

Picking it up this weekend.

- Audio, Anyone replaced the speakers or Headunit? Is it POSSIBLE to upgrade the headunit considering it's combined with the MG Touch system?

- Front bumper, Is it possible to remove the silver trim but that runs along the "mouth" grill? I'm thinking of spraying it, but need it removed to do a clean job

My little ZR is going in the garage SORN and then hopefully my Girlfriend is buying it off me, if not I don't know what to do with it

Well done old bean. Can't advise on the questions as I've never had a 6 .

Cheers gnu.

Well, the Head Unit, I've found a replacement/upgrade one on aliexpress. Although not sure I'm willing to pay 250!
Plus the sound system doesn't seem too bad tbh!

Silver trim, I'll get sorted under MG Warranty I hope. It seems to have "Crazed/faded" and the car is less than 2 years old, so want that rectified.

the dealer has been a bit pants so far, they didn't sort the work I asked to be done first time, so it had to go back in to get done after chasing them with phonecalls. Luckily got hold of a very helpful guy there who got it sorted for me.

However it has to go back in for the MG Touch software to be updated and the "check Engine" light is on.

Not been a smooth start, but the 400+ miles I've done this last week, it's a lovely car to drive

Le Rich, I'll definitely get some photos soon!

!
The replacement stereo and sat nav is over 400 from a dealer for the 3, although probably can be had a bit cheaper from Aliexpress, but the quality of the units and what factory they are produced in varies by all accounts as far as I can tell.

Well that sucks noodles! Disappointed about that, if I could get the Dashboard controls to integrate with a normal Android Tablet, I'd half be tempted to replace it myself!
