I think it's a problem stopping a few of us from getting one at the moment unfortunately.

I actually had the money all saved up for one a couple of years ago but ended up having to buy a new property instead.

Had a 220 mile round trip in the MG 6 today , mainly motorway miles but some country lanes returned 44 mpg , Weather was poor at times so speed was kept to about 65 mph.

The auto wipers are good so are the auto lights, found the driving position was excellent and no excessive wind or engine noise.

Got a lot of admiring glances, and my friend said that it looked very sporty and the colour made it look like an imprezza.

Will take some pics of the interior tomorrow

Not bad for a new engine, 44mpg! It can only get better.

270 insurance saving !

My insurance falls due for renewal next month and I having been getting quotes.
I have managed to save a staggering 270 and reduced the excess to 250 from 500 !

This is a real positive for anyone thinking of buying an MG6, as for me this saving in insurance taxes the car for a year and provides a months free petrol!

What have you replaced with the MG6?

Its like doing my uni research over again, lol

I'm tempted by one similar to yours littlechicken. Probably be a base S, when finances allow.
I saw a Magnette S in black look that looked good, not seen a blue one yet but the only difference outwardly are the twist of pepper alloy wheels .

Very nice car, looks amazing in that colour. I must say looking at them pics it is growing on me, I was never a fan of the blue colour the 6 came it, at least not the GT.

Congrats.

A very good looking car. I agree with everyone else - the blue is one of the best colours. The front end has always looked aggressive to me which I love.

If I had the money, I'd buy one. Saying that, I'm crossing fingers that MG will pull through with the MG3.

+1. Also, what are the seats like on a long journey. I do a lot of driving so a test drive won't entirely answer my questions.
