Jeep Renegade comes with a 1.4 or 1.6 petrol auto if you want. But I think you'd struggle to find a "cheap" SUV with a decent petrol auto transmission. They don't usually come with the base level trims.

That centre console . . .

Why are all the buttons just jammed together in the middle like that? That'll be great fun to try and change the fan settings while driving along.

The top gear review is surprisingly positive...

The GS seems to be dividing opinion more than even the '6 ever did.

I would have been happy with the mid-range Excite model rather than the Exclusive one.

It's easy, as you can use the touchscreen to adjust the air con, fan speed etc
