I'd say it was made by Clarkson and May, but there were no explosions.

Whereas MG seem more like they're heading for an 'F' and "please see me" in green ink.

I got the email and clicked the link with anticipation.

Not exactly making me want to buy one... even though I will

Sure the GS will be great for "dad getting the kids pizza" but to look as lame as it did was sad.

I remember being in school and one of my mates dad's had a MK 1 ZS. Electric Blue.

To a kid it looked awesome.

Then a few years ago I bought a MK2 180 and realized that it WAS awesome and that Gordons old man was genuinely a petrolhead with family sensibilities and I respected him all the more for it.

I'm not a dad yet, but I know that when I do become one I wont loose my love of cars. That advert screamed "I've given up" rather than "get set".

For one thing the car driving around is going slower than the beat of the music.. driving around a culdesac at 15mph cautiously does not make good TV.

And I'm sorry but that Orange is absolute cack... Very dissapointing.

Still its perhaps not as bad as the old ZT advert

But when they have the Sherlock advert...
which shows the GS in a much more desirable light, why spend money on that drivvel.

That advert is genius! How is that person not running the country right now?

The orange is the signature colour but all other available colours are very underwhelming. I have ordered a Mokka Brown just because I wanted the cream interior. Not seen one in the flesh but I'm very concern I might not like it, probably safer bet on the black but then it is only on solid paint.

Figo, when you have kids the trick is to get the wife to have the sensible family car, and you have the fun exciting car.

Nothing wrong with solid colours. Metallic paint is overrated

Straight to the point

They should have made an advert which goes straight to the point with the message that they want to convey... like this one...

Cheers..

Came to the conclusion over the weekend that the Orange is actually nice enough.. The advert just makes it look bad...

surely a low point for MG UK on what in every other aspect is a good car by the sounds of..

I think the orange with black roof looks nice similarly white with black roof but neither I believe are available for UK market.
