Yes, there are still a few unregistered MG's and Rover's around the country. SMC still have a few, and a few other dealers do too.

I thought they all had to be registered before 31/12/2007 because of EuroIV?

Did you mean 31/12/2006

Ordinarily, they would need to have been registered by the end of the year, but that was got around by making use of the SVA system.

Just a few higher priced new cars now remaining at dealers, like the ZT260SE. These are being advertised for just under 20,000.
Also a few 190 ZTTs and 135 Diesels for around 15,000.

I got the last 190 ZT in the country for March 1st reg.. Just registered the normal way as 07.

Nick.

How many do we think as a guesstimate then? Sounds like most of the unsold are V8s, wonder if they'll still be around by 57reg. The dealers must be fed up of seeing them.

There does seem to be a few V8s remaining. They were slow selling when in production. A local dealer to me has had a new 04 build 260SE on their forcourt for a couple of years now. If the price comes down 5k to a more realistic 15k. I wouldnt mind it next year on an 08 reg. Im sure there will still be a few knocking around.
The same dealer still has a new 190 ZTT at 15k. They recently sold the last new ZS 180 in the country.

Still a few new R75s and ZT 135, 160, and a couple of 190 ZTTs at larger dealers like SMC and Evans Halshaw.

Who knows what maybe still available at small family dealers in little towns through out the country.

I say go and buy a proper UK built car while you still can!!

Nick.

When Friersgate, Tamworth closed down near the end of last year they had a unregistered Ignition blue ZS not a 180, an unregistered 75 tourer and a couple of ZR's if i remember rightly. Dealership went into recievership though and the cars and all remaining stock in parts were taken away in trucks.

SMG in Bristol still got lots of new MGs including TF 115, 135 and 160s. Several ZT 135s and even a ZR 160. Plus a few Rovers including a 75 V8.

And A.E.Wilcox at Wikwar near Bristol still got a few 75s including a pearl black Connoisseur CDTi. A Rover Streetwise SE, an MG ZR 105, and a couple of ZTs including a V8.

I have a list, correct at 25/5, of thirteen new Rovers and MGs still available, along with their locations.

If anyone wants a copy email me at rovermart@mail.com

excellent spotting. there's more still around than most ppl think. remains to be seen if theres any still left for 57 reg. i've got a feeling there might still be some V8s about in September, such a shame.

1st july, adverts for unregistered stock seem to have dwindled a little. On autotrader theres now 4 MGs (ZT V8, TF 135, TF160, SV-R) and 3 Rovers (Streetwise, 75, 75 Tourer) Personally I'd love the ZT, brand newish, black with loads of extras, hi-line satnav etc all for under 20K. Bargain.
