Celebrities Owning/Driving MG Rover

With the thread re: The Cheaky Girls' 75 That started me thinking of a thread - that of which A/B/C/D list celebrities currently drive an MG Rover?

Any ideas?

Prince Andrew and Prince Edward drive Rover 75s

Eamon Holmes has a special Solar Red Rover 75, special because the 75 was never 'officially' available in a solid shade of red. Eamon requested Solar Red because he is a Manchester United supporter.

Johnny Briggs is the actor who plays Mike Baldwin. In the past he demanded that he be allowed to use his XJ6 in Corrie. Says a lot about how good the 75 is that he swapped his XJ6 for it!

I think Rowan Atkinson recently bought an SV.

David Baddiel bought a 75 Tourer, he was on Question Time the week Rover went into administration moaning "I've just bought a 75 Tourer, it cost me £28,000, and now its got no warranty and presumably it's now worthless..."

If that is true then the Irish "I'm always on the Box and Radio" Geezer has gorn up considerably in my esteem, unlike some other so called celebrities I could mention.....

Is it really true? Hope so..... most other British Broadcasters drive foreign...

By the way, R75 owner and driver Jimmy Carr was considerably the fastest "Celebrity" in and ordinary car last time I checked that out. Is he still? Sort of undermines considerably another Rover myth .... all are driven by aged incompetents who never drive fast.... Yeah ... right! ..

Apparently ... in a parallel universe MGJohn drives .........A.......

B>>M>>W ....

Arrrrrggghhhhh......... ......
