i went to look at the r114 gsi today and it is a nice clean car it has bin standing for a few months and here are the problems
1) leccy windows are a little slow and a little noisy due to not being used solution clean them up
2) central locking is noisy in the rear driver side door when u lock the car ne one know what would cause that
and finaly
3) rear arches got a few mor months left solution repaire over the summer other than that it has 5 brand new tyres it runs well

by the way, what colour is it?

The 'problems' are usual 100 stuff although at least the central locking and electric windows are working, despite the noise. Failure of such features is a fairly common glitch with these cars.

Wink

nightfire is nice. Whats the mileage on this particular example?.

I remember from your previous thread you were going to modify and 'touch up' the car. Had any more plans?

I hope you do a good job of it, some people utilising 100's for modification around our area have made some terrible efforts.

if i was gonna get a 100 it would be lowered, nicer exhaust system with say a 3'' tail pipe nothing OTT, GTi wheels maybe tints and ditch the crap Rover mesh in the bottom grille and get some smarter black mesh (same style as MG mesh but black, more subtle) do the top grille as well possibly cut the middle 'bar' which the badge is one and smooth as its de-badged then and give a smoother look, tinted side repeaters like on later Rovers/ MG's lightly tint the front headlights, take the glass off and lightly tint the inside for a slightly darker MG style look, obviously not too much as that would mess up your headlight brightness.......... but dont add a bonnet scoop! please, please please! subtle is the way forward! trust me!
