......probably been told on facebook. From what little bit I have seen of a few facebook groups, a very large portion of the 'information' spouted by people on there is total garbage - even on MG and Rover orientated groups where you would think they might know better!

yeh - I agree... facebook has a lot to answer for.. unfortunately there are lots of "believers" out there..

More importantly why haven't they used the 3.0 V6 from the ST220 thats a great engine

Bumped into some dick in the scrappy while hunting for a lower pulley for
the 400 derv when it 'fell off' and he was adamant that the 400/45/ZS
only had the 'Beemer' engine, I did tell him the 400 was out front and he
was welcome to look, he told us to f### off and closed the gates to the
scrappy, salty much lol.
