Looks nice. Be nice to have a proper sports car in the range if it ever materialises...

If it looked like that render, if it was electric, if it was a sports car, if it went into production and if it was in some nice sporty looking colours then that may just be a super car to launch. But I feel there are a lot of IF's there.

Tiny wheels

What are the chances of this concept having tiny wheels?

I can't understand why the Roewe ei6 only has 17" wheels on a car which deserves bigger.

Cheers..

Not every one wants huge wheels. Large diameter wheels and ultra low profile tyres = harsher ride, more punctures and broken rims.

The problem with the Roewe ei6 is that the have low profile tyres on the car which means that the wheels/tyre seem to be too small for the wheel arch when they could have gone for a 60 profile tyre and it would have looked much better.

It is the same with the Maxus D90 which has 21" wheel rims 45 profile but the whole wheel including the tyre just seems out of proportion to the rest of the car:

Cheers..

Thats not really a fair thing to say - they all do it.

If you pick any mainstream car I bet you can find extremely similar elements on other mainstream cars within a few minutes googling.

So, is this article from 2011 or is it recent? I did try the link but it wouldn't load.

It's recent as the "London Eye" headlamps are from the ZS design language as well as the large grille.

The weblink in the original post works for me and they have now updated the article with a new date and time.

I wonder if Aston Martin are going to say something about the design of the concept?

It does look good though. Be nice if it did get put into production. It's about time MG actually produced a sports car again.
