Hi all, I am finding it hard to identify where this is leaking from, possibly multiple places? I think it is engine oil as it doesn't have the nasty smell gb oil does but where the leaks are present would say otherwise. Nothing running down back of engine as the highest oily place is the plate that the reverse light switch goes into however, the n/s inner driveshaft joint looks oily as well? It is just a weep as nothing ever drips on the floor.
I would have suggested that's coming from the driveshaft seals but if your convinced it's not gearbox oil then must be dripping down from above and finding its way around the driveshafts and differential casing.
R65 gearbox. I have dropped the box to change the clutch and can confirm it looks like weeping from both diff seals. Had the correct one for o/s, although original is orange and my replacement is black but same size. N/s one has a metal ring where the shaft sits (TRX100201) , so have had to order one from Rimmers.
