Different arm rests?

I didn't know there was more than one style of armrest.

Bought a new lid and cover for mine, and it doesn't fit.

The screw holes are in different places, and the catch is different.

My original one on left, replacement one on right

The right hand lid is from a 45/ZS

One for summer: 2004 MG TF 135 in Firefrost
One for winter: 2002 MG ZS 120+in Solar Red

did you buy it from eBay?

due to distance seller rules, you can return the item as "not as described" for a full refund.

contact the seller first.

then if they dont offer you a refund, get eBay and paypal involved

Distance Selling Regulations will only apply if it was bought on a fixed price listing (Buy-It-Now) from a business seller though

They don't apply to auction style listings and sales from private individuals.

The best course of action is to contact the seller and point out that it was listed as suitable for a 25, but that has been found to be incorrect. If the seller is decent, they will offer a return and refund (or possibly just refund anyway). If they turn awkward, open a dispute for item seriously not as described.
