fuel line

Just a quick one, whilst looking around my engine bay on 1.4 k series I was originally looking for loose wires to suss my cold starting problem but I noticed that the rubber fuel hose between the filter and the injectors felt loose on the connection between the rubber hose and the aluminium pipe coming out of the fuel filter is that normal? as it it moves up and down the aluminum pipe, the black clip was up so I pushed it in but it still moves about

yes there is wiggle room, usually with fuel pipe there will be a leak if the seal isnt right

Can't see any fuel leak just thought it might cause an air leak, but this bad cold start has me stumped
