rover 25 2002 starts fine 2 mins then no power 5 mins more drives fine?

Hi there mates
Got another 25 problem, 1.4 2002 rover 25 Il

this car drives like a dream, when you first start from cold its runs fine for a minute or two then no power at all for about five minutes then you wouldnt know there was anything wrong with it,

can i ask the simple question WTF LOL

anyway, i have read about engine temp switch whitch one should i change and isthis the acutal problem or should i be looking at the lambor sensor or throtle housing. I need this car running ASAP.

Thanks in advance, Pete

I think it would be a dodgy electrical connection.

Duffo HT leads, coil pack, wiring connectors, etc

Not coil packs, Nice strong Spark,
just been told lamber sensor was changed by the last owner, after he had the problem.

Think its eather throtle or the temp switch on the water, but is it the one that controls the fan or the other one. and are they the same sensor type
