Are these 2 colours the same, i ordered a can from Rover and on the cap it reads xpower/tempest grey. was tempest the Rover name and x power grey the Mg name. As it is impossible to find spray paint for xpower in local shops except from rover direct, could i use tempest grey which is available
from ebay?
As you have suggested above, the pearlescent paint with the code LEF was called Tempest Grey on the Rovers, and XPower Grey on the MGs.
However, when buying, be aware that the name Tempest Grey was also used in the early 90's for the semi matt solid grey used on the lower body panels of the wedge 200/400, so don't get that!
Also comes under a third name - primer. :dddc: :lol:
