Well as normal job not quite going to be a easy as i thought, liners had dropped slightly, main bearing shells have picked up a bit and steel headgasket had marked the head quite bad so now everythings gone away for a hot wash and skim. Didnt really want to go this far but never mind just decoded the main and big end bearing tables so can get the right ones ordered ago with some liner shims while the head is with engineers

No not on this one interested to see what it makes stock with throttle bodies for now then later will fit the janspeed manifold and decat and see what difference they make. I plan to get another engine to build upto the full 190 spec as time goes on as have already started getting few bits together

Not to sure really on stock ECU had a really bad flat spot at mid range that you had to drive through but throttle was a lot more responsive

I couldn't get the ZS running right on the stock ecu with ITB's, that's why I switched to the emerald.

Same here what do you think of the Emerald? Do you use the data logging

I'm a big fan of emerald's, have them on all our track cars. The ZS is a pure road car though, my everyday hack as it were, and it works absolutely fine but it does all depend on who maps it and how good they are at mapping. Mine was done at HT Racing at the back of Brands Hatch, same place that mapped out MGB-K, and he did a lot of light throttle work on it. It's a little lumpy on idle until warmed up but that's to be expected on ITB's, other than that it's perfectly fine for everyday use and runs very very well.

I've not used the data logging on it though, never really needed to.

Have you bothered with the cold start etc EPS motorsport will be doing the mapping on mine going to run 2 maps so can have a more less standard set up for normal use etc

Yup it has the cold start all set up. Occasionally needs a blip of throttle on really cold mornings but has been fine in temps below 0, just let it warm up for a minute or two before driving off.
