Getting Sub wire into engine on MG ZS Facelift

Hi, looking for the easiest way to wire in a sub on a MGZS 120 06 model, also need to rewire speaker on passenger side, does that involeve removing the whole doorcard? Or does the speaker grill pop off?

Why do you need to get sub wire into engine bay ? The wire from sub goes to amp. Do you mean the power lead from battery to amp ? If it's the power lead you mean then you just need to release the bolts securing engine bay fusebox and move it to one side. You will then see a large rubber grommet below, that's where you enter the cabin. Pierce the grommet and feed power lead in through hole, I use a metal coat hanger or piece of fence wire and attach to power lead to get in in and down through footwell. It will make it easier if you remove the glove box which is just 2 bolts at bottom of glove box 8mm ( but it can be done with glove box in place just bit harder) Then it's pop off plastic kick plates on sills and tuck wire under carpet and feed through to boot.
Regarding door speaker if you need to get at speaker end connections then yes door card needs removal.
