Balls...

As some of you may know, I recently bought the 190 brake upgrade - discs, calipers, carriers & pads.

Spent hours cleaning up the discs & calipers, before painting them (~6 coats). My Dad baked them at work today, so it's pretty much done (although they need a few more coats...)

The 190 upgrade fits under 18"s only (and a few 17"s)... but thats not a problem as I've got 18"s on the ZT.

Only in a moment of stupidity I also bid on some winter wheels - 15" Subaru wheels wearing snow tyres, for next winter (after how useless my 225 / 45 / 18's were!), and won them.

So now I either sell one of them, or I change my entire front end braking system every winter... oh dear.

Ah, the folly of youth. We all went there and came back wiser.

Well the wheels turned up today...

Tyres, very good. Wheels... looking pretty shoddy.

Gave them a test fit...

Starting to look rediculous.

Fitted them at the front only to find they don't clear the calipers. Oh, and they'd managed to somehow weld themselves to the hubs. Que an hour swearing with a hammer and a spanner getting them off.

Now to try to find some 15" wheels to put them on...
