Exclamation Fuse Box Layout & Diagram

Hi All,

I am looking for the early MG ZT fusebox diagram/picture. My 51 Module does not have a picture or list in the lid. My owners manual has a second generation fuse box diagram (I suspect a purchase after the car was bought during it second hand life).

I did find a copy a few weeks ago (and did not save it Doh!) but I cannot find it on the net now. What I am after is the fuse for the high level brake light as it has just stopped working rather than one or two LED's failing.

Thank you,

T-Cut usually has these pictures. I guess he will be along soon with them. Or do a search for his posts and fuses. Also scroll down on this page for similar threads.

The high level brake light doesn't have it's own fuse, it is controlled by the light switch module.

I guess I had better measure the voltage comming going into the light to see if it is the whole of the high level brake light that has failed......

Nothing is simple... Still cannot find the leak in my boot...

It depends which two you have. The older box has sockets for five possible relays (one is mounted above the board). Starting from the right, the relays are:

1. Petrol pump
2. Rear wiper (tourer)
3. Headlamps washer (OEM Xenons)
4. Can't remember
5. (above board) Diesel pump/pumps (ITP/UBP)

The old board layout in in Haynes I believe.

The Handbook link given above shows the details on pages 174-178.
