Heated seats not working

Hello guys again,

I've been searching threads on this topic for a while and didn't find the solution.

As i think this topic is not deeply solved and lots of owners have the problem, lets discuss it here.
I began research on dash buttons, they are glowing (lights are on).
My seats are not heating any more and today i removed the seat, found the connector for heating seats as i know (upper connector on the picture is from the dash towards the seat, other on splits power to back and bottom heater):

What should i expect on that connector and on dash buttons?
Any ideas how to trace the problem?

Regards,
Dragan

firstly you need to check for power to the plugs in the seats,, but the problem is most likely a break in the heating elements. so check continuity in the heater element side of the plugs.. . i retro fitted the heater elements and electic adjustment to my zt seats.(from a rover 75) and during fitting i did check continuity of the elements.. and actually saw the burnt out place in the element.. simply rejoined..

Thanks, checked it all and there was a problem with stat...
I removed the seat today and replaced the thermostat, now i have continuity and i checked the heater by connecting it to 12V supply it all works!

Strange thing now happens, when i check the supply voltage on the dash button(switch) i am not getting nothing similar to 12V between yellow and orange/white wires.
Any ideas? I checked the fuse 49 and it is ok...
How can i check the switch or wiring?

Regards
