I now have TOAF working on a Windows 10 laptop 64bit, using the VAG comm kkl cable off eBay with pins 7 and 8 soldered as shown earlier in this thread by Shawn. Early days but cleared lots of faults on a few modules including my ABS light. So no damage to my wheel sensor or bearing.

Just a quick question, where is the part of the program that zeros the service counters.

Also my EWS and LSM have been changed in the cars history (I changed the LSM) as the mileage (km) and VIN do not match. Can these be changed?

Oil service reset is in IKE section.

LSM section:
Change mileage to 0. Then turn the key off and on again, mileage should be rewrited from instrument cluster.

About vin number:
Just copy VIN from Ike module into LSM. there is special section to copy vin numbers below module selection

Hello

TOAF doesn't seem to be able to read all the options on the main screen. It reads car data etc. For example, It doesn't connect to the airbag module. It says its not found. My car is a 2.5 V6

On the TOAF download page it says:
On list you will find TOAF software, FTDI USB serial drivers and files with standard configuration for LSM, IPK, BCU, PDC and SMAC modules.

So they appear to be the default configuration files for the Light Switch Module operating standard halogen or Xenon (HID) headlamps. As to how these might be used, I haven't the foggiest. Until a User Manual appears, I'll be just watching from the sidelines.

If its anything like the configuration of some of the other modules, there should be list of option with tick boxes (ie active or not active)
When adding keys, you basically add the new key to the BCU,make a file copy of the BCU with the new key, save it then restore the BCU using that new file.
I wonder if that means you could make a copy of a BCU and over write it to another BCU ie-after saving a copy of the BCU one in a car and saving a copy to file, put another BCU into the car and using the restore button, put the saved BCU into the other unit.
I guess the ECU and LSM wouldn't like it as it wouldnt match VIN etc but might allow you to have a spare copy I guess.

hiya, perhaps the xenon lcm bit is to do with the following. I have tried toaf, and whilst it was great, I have factory fit xenons, when switching drl on in toaf, and having sidelights switched on... if indicating left or right the drl lights would come on as well temporarily , confusing other car drivers... ta Nick

Its good to find and document these issues and hopefully Marcin or his friends communicate these issues to him.
There is a bunch of things in TOAF that ive not tried or switched on/off.
I have used the memory seat function when adding them to my ZT and they worked fine.
Another interesting thing is there is an option for 18" wheels which I have on my 75.Maybe it re callibrates the speedo ?
