As for the antifreeze/anti corrosion inhibitor.
OAT is recommended. Its main claim to fame is longer service life. I have, from practical experience, got to the point, that I realize there is no way that I will get 4 years of uninterupted service from my cooling system, so for me, this feature is not worth paying for.
In stead I use normal antifreeze, which has served millions of people over the years fine, at a fraction of the cost.
I have recently had one engine opened, and it was clean as a whistle inside. Just remember that the service life of this type is about 2 years.
But you can use it with confidence.
As for the addition of k-seal. Go for it. I don't claim it will cure HGF, but it certainly sorted my leaks past the liners out.!
