hi everybody i have a 2003 rover 75 2.0 diesel my engine management light flickers on for a few seconds now and then car running fine i have a obd code reader and its showing nothing could it be a loose conection
Give it a scan with TOAF. Download
You just need a £3 vagcom kkl cable with pins 7 and 8 soldered together ,there's loads of information on here about it.
Don't know about you Shawn but I see only three pages of history and the TOAF information is accordingly at risk of shortly disappearing which would be a great shame, or am I missing something?
I'm OK having saved most of it to my harddrive especially FrenchMike's/Keith's contributions which I think should have been made a sticky for easy and permanent reference.
Many thanks for hearing my plea. Unfortunately I’m in Turkey at present and the connection is very slow, often timing out so I can't even log in, tried several times yesterday evening, so I’m going to turn to others and ask if someone would send you links to:
FrenchMike’s picture by picture “how to”
Keith’s anti-trap BCU upgrade
The advisory from Longer86 to not use the diesel remap.
MarinaBrian’s hack for adding used remotes (think it was this site?)
Perhaps even Shawn’s picture showing pins to be soldered and the KKL cable.
Please add anything TOAF related that you feel needs to be included but trimmed to just include relevant content.
I put all threads about TOAF I could think that might be relevant. You sholud look into this and let me know id something is missing or something is not needed.
Trimming mentioned is not possible because I cannot delete posts from others. On the other side I do not think that creating one huge thread will be of any good because all posts will be there in chronological way, so might be more confusing then helping.
If you think of something else which can be of interest and it can be done, give me a note...
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
