Some Advice Needed

After suffering a life threatening illness over Christmas, I found myself the owner of a Mk2 Rover 75 Connie SE (was actually dads car, but he gave it me as a reward for pulling through) I've already started to de-project drive it, by replacing the light oak plastic with the real walnut wood from a mk1 , however I can't find a walnut gear knob for love nor money. I did however find this

MG Rover 75 Black Leather and Chrome Push Fit Gearknob Gear Knob UKJ100570LNF | eBay

Unfortunately my chassis number starts with 32 instead of 30, so it looks like it won't fit, despite it being a pull off/push on type.

Do you know if this type of gear knob was available to cars made AFTER chassis number 307060? I hope so, as IMO it'd look awesome with the walnut interior.

There is one advantage of project drive, most wiring looms include the wiring for options, early cars had model and variation specific looms.
