Got to admit these guys are pretty smart fellas to be able to produce somthing like this and at very little cost.
I know its free but I think they deserve a donation for the hard work they have done and hopefully allow them to keep developing it.

An absolute god send for Rover 75 owners who live in countries which have hardly any or no T4 machines available like here in Australia.
Think there needs to be a TOAF users page (maybe in the technical section) and people who have it can report on the good, the bad and any issues they come across. Like it or not,it exists and will no doubt be used by a number of people to keep their cars on the road

Don't know if its possible even but I'd like to be able to activate my cruise control at 20mph where as right now it can only be put on at 22mph.
20mph zones seem to be increasing and it will stop people from trying to force me along.
Would be nice to have the cruise control come on with the ignition by default just as the rear demister does in winter.

Ok. I tried the cable and connected my laptop with the TOAF loaded and running. I clicked to connect to the car which it appeared to do but when I clicked elsewhere in the programme it doesn't seem to read/connect to anything. ??? I may just wait until others have ironed out the problems.

With ignition on, It finds the lead and installs the software for it, then says it has connected. When I click on the buttons, it says:- Module not found connection error

I've just been reading the email from Toaf that included the programme and it seems that I should have renamed a file or something ( I'm a bit of a technophobe where computer files are concerned). I managed to unzip the file and have it load as a programme on my laptop but should I have done the renaming bit at some point for it to work properly? As below:-

" First You must rename extension filename TOAF.RA_ to TOAF.RAR"

Sorry for the numpty questions!

Mike

EDIT. I've renamed the files and still no joy. There was some talk about bridging pins on the cable??? Mike

No. quality cables with the correct chip will not need modding..

Just been on the phone with a mate who has been having a go on his car. He had a bit of a moment when he hit "SAVE" to start with instead of "BACKUP" and he though because he hadn't made any changes yet it may have wiped it as he could hear thumping from the light module

But all was well and he just did the "BACKUP" and everything was fine!

He enabled 30% DRL's but also then thought I want them on with the ignition and then ticked that box only to find that he lost his side lights. A quick "restore" and DRL's "only" selected and it was fine.
