I'm coming back to the MG fold... Big project blah blah

To get some parts sorted I bought this. I'll be robbing a few bits and selling the rest for parts.

First of all... does anyone know this car?

and second... Any idea what these alloys are? I don't think they are standard.

Definitely not standard alloys and are aftermarket purchase. Cannot help you as to where thay may have been sourced.

Sorry can't help with answers to your questions but WELCOME BACK!

Also good to see how well the MGF/TF cares for its occupants in a heavy front end shunt!

I can testify, after slamming head long into a a wall at 40, that they are indeed sturdy as f*** in front collision. Bonnet absorbed the entire impact!

Its a shame about the F as it looked like it was quite a tidy example.
Its got tons of donor bits though, nice spoiler too and the seats are rather tempting too!

No worries, cheers man it's good to see some of the old guard still around! It'll be a while before I can get a donar shell for my project, this one is toast. But I can't wait

Yeh, nice thing about being mid engined for sure!

Indeed. I remember phils crash a long while ago. they are pretty well built given the design was a rush job!

My main thing for my project will be roll protection and side impact
