MGF Mk1 - wash/wipe facility

My handbook is a bit vague on this, wondered if when you pull the stalk to operate the windscreen washers, should the wipers come on as well. Mine don't and you have to switch them on.

There's no wash wipe programme. You have to turn the wipers on or dip the stick.

Thanks for that, at least I know nothing is wrong, had visions of a faulty relay.

upgrade to Rover 800 stalks - youll get intermittent wipe and much nicer looking / higher quality stalks, and they pop right on!

Garages
Although I should point out that the R800 alone will not give you intermittent wipe.
