I consider it to be sacrilege to put ANY car through a car wash. It will do your paintwork no favours whatsoever. It might look nice and clean after but you'll be inducing masses of swirl marks from the process. Best way is to use a two bucket hand wash method with the correct tools to avoid marring.

Even in a hurry, I would never put my baby through one of those 'machines'......

I saw at least one porous point on the side of the roof...

For .org forum only search results in Google, add "site:mg-rover.org" after your search criteria

Ian has spotted water soaking through at about 2 mins 40, I think.
Not a leaky seal, more the actual fabric of the roof being less than 100% water-proof just there.

MGFnTFBITZ sell them, the chromed strikers are still on the Amaranth car, just swapped the hood for Stoneleigh
