Mobile mg mechanics

Hi I'm back again. Keep forgetting my pass words. I'm looking for a mg mechanics. To replace my waterpump and cam belt and tensioner. I'm on the Wirral. Could please advise.

I have the password problem too.


I normally do my own work, but I have had Jon and Claire Norris up to work on my two when the belts needed changing. Can't praise them enough.


They can be heavy on the coffee and biscuits though.

Home -- MG Rover Mobile Mechanics

I've used Dave & Kayleigh (based in Derby) for my 'needs' - couldn't fault them or the work. Might be a cheaper option as distance from you can be a cost factor in their fuel charges etc.

Always (as mentioned) worth keeping a stash of biccies and bacon butties on tap, just in case!

If your car is a runner you could come to Helsby I have a mech who lives just 5 doors down from me and he knows MGs inside out He is also cheaper that most [ no vat ]

Can you ask him how much for a waterpump plus Cambelt. Supply and fit. Or if you have is number I'll call him. Cheers

Hi His number is 07787301921 and parts + labour will be 200 ish
He changed my cam belts [V V C 2 belts ] alternator belt and water pump for 200

thanks for getting back. I know yours is vvc . But 200ish. Seems a lot for mine from a mechanic as you say less vat . Been quoted 170 and 135 plus traveling from one of the mobile guys. Thanks anyway
