new tf 160 owner :)

Hi all, im new to this site.
just bought a silver tf 160 and im bloody loving it, wasnt too sure at first as my old car was a hyundai coupe 2.7 v6 which i loved and had plenty of torque to put a smile on my face.
not really got too many plans for the car, just want a little sub for under the seats and maybe a little spoiler on the back like the mgf trophy.

i did manage to stain my undies on the first night of having it as it spun out on what i have now decided to be a very bad slippy bend (when wet), the back end kicked out, i pulled it back but it spun the other way.....i ended up rolling backwards and only just missed a bus stop, luckily there were no other cars around......
i took it onto asda carpark to test how easily the back end goes out and just like it says in write ups about the car.....it just wouldnt do it, i probably got about6 inches of slide then it just gripped...i might write to the local council about that bend ha ha, it nearly killed my new car

A very warm welcome to you superjody.

I'm new here too - about 6 months - this is a fun place to be which suits the car very well.

Photos of your car please - we've never seen one before!!!

Welcome to the forum.

I don't know your driving style, but with the TF160, the redline is there to be explored. Keep low gears and take it through the revs when safe to do so and you will be rewarded.

Something else the 160 benefits from is a sports exhaust. It is up to you if and/or which one you choose to suit your tastes, but the car will feel twice as fast and put a big daft grin on your face.

This will give you some idea.

Hiya.

I've had my TF 115 for 12 months but wish I'd got a faster model.Still good fun though.

I know less than nothing about cars but there's plenty on here that do - for when you get stuck.

Have fun!

Regards.
