just doing some jobs on my tf today with a mate changed the back pads
oil etc but when we came to the air filter it look like a job and half so what the best way to change thanks

Have a look on HOW TO cjj explanes it very well, its under 30K service.
but it is a simple job, take your engine cover off for easy acces, and just open 3 clips to get to it. simple!!!
I watched Lates do mine and it is possible to change it with just the boot open, but a very very tight squeeze. First he got his arm stuck and when he did manage to get out he had a big scratch on his arm. Removing the engine inspection panel sounds much better to me
