Hey there all, Wondered if anyone could help with a little temperature problem, as in, there is no heat whatsoever in the cabin of my tf160. Car also overheated for the first time the other day after standing in none moving traffic for over half an hour, I know I should have turned the negine off, but my little lad was watching a dvd at the time, and as all you parents on here will know, if they are quite leave them quite! lol. Well anyway, thanks in advance for any help.

Shouldn't have overheated, no matter how long it sits ticking over. Check that your radiator fan is working. Check the fuse hasn't blown, it's in the underbonnet fuse box. If it's 15amp, change it to a 20 amp.

No heat in the cabin suggests an air lock in the heater pipes, you'll need to bleed the coolant system.
Hopefully you haven't done any damage.

Fan working, when I said the car had overheated, I was a little vague, the temperature gauge was on half, but steam was coming out of the engine bay, upon investigation, the expansion tank had nearly boiled down to nothing, the radiator fan had come on numerous times. I never realised a problem until it started to steam. as the temp gauge was reading half. Stupid car! lol. So how do I go about bleeding the coolant system? Big job?
